I love golf, but I rarely find the time to play. Hopefully, this year will be different. I also enjoy woodworking and photography.

I have played the trumpet for over 40 years. I played with the First Baptist Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for over 20 of those years. Now that I live in Hartwell GA, I play with a much smaller group of musicians at First Baptist Hartwell.

I can listen and appreciate most types of music. I prefer Classical, Contemporary Christian, and Smooth Jazz. Mix in a little bit of Country, Blue Grass, Big Band music, and a Barber Shop quartet. The only rock and roll is the old classics from the Beatles, Elvis, Rod Stewart, the Stones...

I am a big movie person. Even though my children won't watch them with me, I like the old black and white classics with Jimmy Stewart, Burt Lancaster, June Alyson, James Dean, Gregory Peck, John Wayne. My wife and I mostly watch Romantic Comedies and Mysteries together. My preference is a comedy or musical. The scary movies I like are by Alfred Hitchcock. I'm not entertained with blood and guts, unless it's Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry.

The movies that I have seen the most times: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Outlaw Josie Wales, While You Were Sleeping, You've Got Mail, Return To Me, Fiddler On the Roof.
