My first love is reading and then writing. I love good music, movies and comics. I like sitting out under the stars around my pool until early hours of the morning. I love spring, summer and fall. Flowers make me smile and sunshine regenerates me. I like life and I long for spring when the world renews itself.

I dislike pushy, dishonest people who pretend they want to help you. I dislike leading people on, and making outlandish promises that cannot be achieved. I hate pressure, stress, arguments and illiteracy.

Knitting, crocheting, dancing, reading, writing, gardening, wash & wear jewelry making, watching movies and television, playing with my little companion Chewy.

Nora Jones, Tina Turner, Keb Mo, Melissa Etheredge, Sting, Jill Scott, It goes on. I like a lot of different kinds of music from the old fashioned blues to country western.

I like books that work my imagination. I once read a book (Stephen King's Pet Sematery) and was so scared that I slept in the living room where I finished it, because I was scared to go upstairs.

I am finally falling into the state of retirement. Vacationing in St. Martin in November while other teachers are grading papers and preparing quarter grades is the "bomb". I am recovering from a serious illness and learning to use the internet. I am trying to find my niche in a world of advertisers. I have decided that I am not going to try to be like every one else, because I am not. I will promote only what I believe in. I will try to mesh it into my physical community until it fits the goals that I have for myself.

My business has grown into a local advertising agency geared at helping families, especially single parent ones to cope with educating their children. I want to use my education and experience to help parents provide productive past times for the latch key child who has far too much unsupervised time. I want to help Grandmothers like myself who are care givers for the grands find ways to motivate children to read, care for the hair, and develop good personal hygiene. I would like to help young people understand that a feeling of entitlement is not the answer that they must participate in their own salvations.
